PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The XR-800 bone densitometer machine by Norland is a central DXA system that is capable of scanning the standard clinical sites including the whole body, AP spine, hip, lateral and forearm. When you buy the Norland XR-800, you will have access to Norland’s Illuminatus software package which features the high speed of pencil-beam X-ray technology. The software tools have also been designed for HIPAA compliance. You will also have access to “Folder Mail” and “Image Mail” that will allow you to send out reports to local and remote locations.
The Norland XR-800 is equipped with an 8-foot patient table that has a scan area of 76” L X 25.5” W. This table can accommodate patients up to 400 pounds and is fitted with a washable pad to provide low maintenance and optimal hygiene. It also includes a 77-point calibration system that use a matrix that has been constructed from 7 bone density samples that have been crossed with 11 soft tissue levels.
